Welcome back to Issue 02 of FASTER than SHEEP! Some of you still have the newsprint copy, but for all you other curious folk, you can get your digital digits grimy with a good old fashioned electronic version of the original magazine that set plenty of kitchen tables and living room couches on fire! To all of you old-school FtS followers, take a moment to peruse this issue and revisit some of your old favorite photos, columns, poems or adverts*. If you are new to FASTER than SHEEP we hope at the very least it makes you giggle, chortle, or snort.
Of particular interest with FtS Issue 02 … Andy Capps’ Boots and Saddles … there is NOT a single one among us who does not miss that guy and who did not love Boots and Saddles. It was what made FtS what it was and this was the issue it all began. If you have the slightest idea of what is good for your soul you will read Andy’s column. This was our one and only “Fashion Issue” and it rocked if you ask me … we should have done more fashion issues because … well, because it was pretty damn fun. Other highlights include work by Gino Sky, Travis Swartz, both of which are pretty well-known around these parts for their amazing talent. I will say no more … check it for yourself already.

Special thanks also goes out to all of our advertisers (those who paid anyway), those businesses who were willing to let us distribute FtS, and everyone and anyone who ever uttered an encouraging word.
Note #1: Most of the original fonts used to create FASTER than SHEEP have gone missing, and I’m not buying them again … cut me some slack.
Note #2: I maintained the original size of FtS when I created the .pdf … if you don’t have access to a larger format printer (11″x14″ works best) you may have to just adjust your printer settings and shrink the page to fit … or you could contact me and I will send you an original copy on inky newsprint if I still have copies (I have most issues).
If you are looking for or are interested in other issues of FtS they can be found on the FtS(redux_archive) page … click accordingly.
Note c: Please don’t take FtS too seriously. FtS(redux) is an exercise in joy and tomfoolery. There were plenty of typos, grammatical errors, and just plain goofiness in EVERY issue of FtS… yet again, cut us some slack.
Lastly and foremostly (yes, foremostly), not a single issue of FASTER than SHEEP could have ever happened without the incredibly talented and committed contributors that submitted their work. It’s impossible to describe how honored FASTER than SHEEP felt when something amazing fell into our hands. We were never able to thank everyone enough, but I want to thank them all at least one more time. THANK YOU!
*Oh, some adverts may have been removed … probably because they didn’t pay us and/or they no longer exist. For that do still exist (Record Exchange, Flying M, Boise Co-op, Dragonfly) please give them your patronage … they deserve it!
